Kodak or Polaroid?

Polaroid is popular & famous & the best Camera to use. 

Both are toast now .

But Kodak is far older .

Polaroid by a long mile. It's retro, stylish and worth your money.

From where I am, Kodak is more famous and popular. There was a time when the slang for taking pictures was "Kodakan".

Kodak.  Just about everyone over the age of 20 or so around the world has used Kodak film.  You can't say that about Polaroid cameras or film, or any instant film/camera for that matter.

Neither is much cop these days.

Kodak made film, and became irrelevant as the digital age took hold (crazy when they were in on the ground floor).

Polaroid made lousy cameras, which regurgitated a poor-quality image instantly (and successfully blocked Kodak's second attempt to do the same - the first (during WW2) was sat on by the US DoD for security reasons)).

You'll still find their names on digital cameras, but they're best avoided.
