If I eat 1000 calories a day, how many pounds a week will I lose?
Considering the average male eats like 2500 calories a day, if I only eat 1000 a weak, does that mean I’d lose 3 pounds a day? Because I’d eat more like 4000 calories a day so I don’t know how that’d work out. Can someone put it into simpler terms for me?

It just isn't that simple. First off, it depends on how much you weigh, how many calories your body actually burns a day and a bunch more complicated stuff. You will lose weight quite quickly in the beginning but you body will adjust and try to adapt to the new calorie intake so your weight loss will slow down and may appear to stop (plateau) for a while. The timing and actually weight loss will be very individual based.

The amount of calories you eat per day or per week is not the only determining factor on loosing weight Besides, Each person is different. There is no set rule on the amount of calories you eat and weight loss or gain.
The other factors you have to consider is what type of food are you eating and how much exercise you doing. You would have to stop eating completely to lose 3 Lbs per day and exercise a lot.
