Why does the battery seem like it's dying fast?
So, I just got my 2009 17-inch Macbook Pro up and running. It claims the battery only has 80 cycles but seems to be dying quite fast. Is this normal for how old it is or perhaps I need a new battery? What do you think, thanks!

My only suggestion is to STOP beginning any sentence with "So, ..."

They can over time. Sometimes restarting the pc can help. Also make sure everything updated cause it can have impact on things. Standby mode screensaver can affect battery at times as well

It's old and needs to be replaced.
