Does youtube force people to be subscribed to some channels?

I cannot unsubscribe from J Balvin Youtube channel. Or so it seems. The unsubscribe/subscribe button and when I go to a J Balvin video the red Subscribe button is there, but according to Youtube I'm already subscribed as the channel shows up in my "Subscribed" list. I tried to click Subscribe and then Unsubscribe, but it didn't do anything.

I was also subscribed to some other channels that I would never subscribe to. No one else has access to my account. I change passwords frequently. No sign of any account breach. I was able to unsubscribe from these other channels.
