Are the anti Iranian protests in Iran a signal of potential change or just a temporary show of anger ?

Trump is a very consequential president and I wonder to what extent his vision or foreign policy helped to propel these protests?

There is big pressure for change, and the young there don't want to wait until the older conservatives have gone to implement a less dogmatic system.  They are sick of the Khomeiniism etc.

These anti government protesters aren't anti Iranian, they're just fed up with the restrictions their current Political Leader, has enforced on them.

They want to live in a Democracy, they want their daughters to be safe to walk alone on the streets, they want their women to be able to go out without being clothed in head to toe black sheets.

They want their children to go to school and University and there country to grow back into a modern and safe country.

They probably aren't enamoured by Donald Trump or America.

The majority of the population is young and not enamoured with the current old leadership.
