Why is Trump concerned with recognizing the capitol of Jerusalem when no one buys that he cares about anything, really?

I mean, he gets obsessed with trivial details of some boring **** no one cares about.... is he just excited to finally have a pulpit and people listening to him? Poor guy, his senility is advancing faster than Reagans did (it wasnt til his 8th year in office that his mind was gone)
