Why does Streaming suck compared to a blu ray dvd.?
I have an Apple TV and can see a big difference between a blu ray disk and Apple TV 4K in Alita Battle Angel and can only wonder will 4k be that much of a big difference

Bandwidth used. UHD streaming on Netflix is 25 or less MbpsUHD Disks use 82 Mbps for 50 GB dual layer discs to 128 Mbps for triple layer discs
the key to 4K us UHD. HD uses 8 bits for color information meaning you get 256 shades of red, blue, and green. Ultra High Definition uses 10 or 12 bits for color meaning you get 1024 or 4096 shades of red, etc. depending on coding used and the TV displaying it. The color gamut is also wider meaning not only are there more shades of red, they cover more of the spectrum.
