How many NADPH molecules are generated by the oxidative phase of the pentose phosphate pathway using 6 molecules of glucose-6-phosphate?

How many NADPH molecules are generated by the oxidative phase of the pentose phosphate pathway using 6 molecules of glucose-6-phosphate?

-I figured this out to be for every G6P molecule 2 NADPH are produced so a total of 12 NADPH would be produced in this case

How many G6P molecules are regenerated in the non-oxidative phase of the pentose phosphate pathway under the same conditions as before...

-Im confused on this because the non-oxidative phase doesn't seem to be able to make any G6P molecules without entering and going through gluconeogenesis.
