For several weeks Democrats claimed to have overwhelming evidence for impeachment of President Trump.  Now they are saying more time is?

"There isn’t any evidence, they don’t have any...because there aren’t any impeachable offenses. They had their own opportunity to find the evidence, to produce the evidence. They don’t have any. They didn’t produce any because there isn’t any." -Rush Limbaugh

My thoughts are that Republicans are treating this impeachment similar how people respond to bear attacks - make themselves appear big (figuratively), when they really should have brought some "bear spray" along.

House Democrats were too lazy to read the transcript themselves, so they based their impeachment stunt vote entirely on Schiff's "parody" and didn't bother to read the transcript themselves.  Now they all look like first class dupes.

That is not contradictory.  There was more than sufficient evidence on which to impeach Trump.  New evidence against Trump is being presented every few days.  

The Democrats already presented a case they claimed was solid enough to sign and present articles of impeachment . It's supposed to be time to judge the case

You can't fit 15 lbs of sh!t in a 10 lbs bag. 

They didn't have it, they don't have it, and they won't have it.
