Trademarking An Artist Name?

Is it infringement if an artist name is the same as another person’s except without a space in between the letters? Random example is if one used the name “Balo“ because “Ba Lo” is taken. Looking forward to the answers.

***I've asked this before but nobody was certain of their answer. Thanks in advance.

You CAN'T trademark a name. You can only trademark USE of the name in a given industry.

The legal standard is likelihood that of confusing customers. In the case you describe, MOST courts would find you INTENDED to confuse customers.
