Pros and Cons working with your partner?

My partner told me that she loves to work with me under the same company/organization(we are both medical laboratory scientists) and I honestly said that I feel uncomfortable with that. What are your thoughts about it? Or similar experience

    Unless you're in a situation where you can sort of avoid each other at work this is never advisable.

    I would be concerned that if there was a company layoff,  you could both be fired.
