How big of a threat is the XFL to the NFL?

None anyone that stands out in the XFL will be trying out for the NFL.The pay is just not there and they won't be able to keep good players.They will be stuck with wannabes and has beens

Not much at all as the NFL is forever. 

None,it has second rate players that couldn't make it in the nil.

None whatsoever. I give it one or two seasons tops.

No threat at all

Lemme just say I'm a HUGE fan of "American-style rugby" and anything that resembles it AND - I love Canada...

Lemme just say that I've watched a handful of CFL games and it just never stuck - and yet watching a game gives me a chance each time to "visit" Canada, but again it never stuck...

As well... I never watch college football...

It takes too long for players to get familiar and by the time they do (if they do) they're entering thee *Wait for it*

I watched like one Arena League game and the rule differences (just to be different than the NFL) were so corny I couldn't stick with it AND - them stupid pads instead of an out-of-bounds line is just rediculous...

There are a couple of "rules" I hate in the NFL - such as the down-by-contact thing and the free play.

If a throw isn't good enough to hit a player in stride and they dive for the catch, fine... but don't let them get extra yards and don't make the difference of it being a player so much as accidentally grazing them with the tip of their shoe.

So dumb.

In that respect I like college more.
