Vacuum question?

I'm using this BigVac for my living room to pick up cat hair. The extension tube that goes into the vacuum gets a bit dirty and crusted.

So of course its off my vacuum, but i'd flush some water through the "tube" which it flows out the other end.

Is it still safe to use afterwards before i put into the vacuum to began again?

You would have to wait until all of the water that inside of the tube is completely dried out.

Sure it works again. You should clean the whole piece vac tube from time to time with water and soap to remove dirts, hair and dust until it is restored back close to new look, and also clean inside the vac as well.

If you dry it off first, it will be perfectly safe to use.  But using the tube wet" will just make a horrible mess in the vacuum cleaner and might electrocute you (unless it's a wet/dry vac).
