Will the coronovirus cancel my caribbean cruise  ?

I know that there is a case in the dominican republic, and i have a cruise from puerto rico in a month. I have no idea what’s gonna happen and it’s very annoying because i was excited about this for a while but now I geuss I can’t be....

Your cruise line will probably cancel it for you, and give you credit for another cruise, so don't bother packing!

The cruise lines will do whatever they can to make money.  If they didn't cancel a cruise, and a lot of people got sick, the bad press would cost them.  If they cancel a cruise because of the potential for people to get sick, they lose money. As such, they have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages from a cost perspective and make a decision.

If they don't cancel it, go, and have fun.  Take some Clorox wipes, wash your hands a lot, use hand sanitizer, etc.  Take all the precautions recommended by legitimate cources (not your aunt who thinks CBD oil cures cancer), and you will most likely be fine.  If they cancel it, they are doing it for a good reason, so take the money and apply it to a future cruise, or a land vacation, or whatever.  One thing is for sure, if you choose to cancel and don't have "cancel for any reason" insurance, they aren't going to issue a refund.  I know people on cruises today, and people who are going next week.  I wouldn't stress over it, but take precautions.

Traveling is very dangerous now especially in confined areas with lots of people. I would cancel if I were you..
