Why is it acceptable for women to openly talk about their sexual desires and fantasies but creepy,perverted and vulgar when men do the same?

Depends on what level, how much detail.  We’re always hearing about men’s preferences in women, and women’s preferences in men. Any more explicit than that is unnecessary and inappropriate, if not as you say, vulgar. Why would anyone feel the need to broadcast this stuff? It’s not ok for men or women to do this in front of me.  So you aren’t speaking for how all women see things.

As with all things, context matters. It's certainly not okay for a female teacher to talk about her sexual desires with her class. Meanwhile it's completely appropriate for a man to talk about his sexual desires and fantasies with his romantic partner. It's never okey for either to just walk up to a stranger and start detailing their sexual preferences. The difference between most men and creepy men is that they understand where certain things are appropriate and where they are not.

My boyfriend and i talk about this stuff all the time. I don't think he's creepy or perverted or vulgar. He's just a sexual being. We are close.

If some strange man started talking to me about this stuff, i'd run for the hills. And i don't talk about his stuff casually. That would beFuckedUP

When and where do women do this? It's generally inappropriate unless you're among close friends or telling tales in a bar, but 2) stop pretending men aren't predatory and don't make disgusting comments toward women to threaten them. Even if women were being inappropriate, they aren't being threatening. Unlike men. Apples v. oranges.

Women's sexuality has a high value whereas men's sexuality has almost no value.  So women's sexuality is celebrated.  Men's sexuality is often feared and derided.

Women's sexuality is specifically protected by law and even chivalrous acts of random men putting their lives on the line to come to a woman's rescue. Men's sexuality on the other hand is increasingly being criminalized with lower and lower thresholds of what constitutes "harassment" these days. Feminist are insisting that just an accusation is all it takes.
