    I've just finished "A Gentleman in Moscow" by Amor Towles and thoroughly enjoyed it, but for sheer visceral talent I recommend 'Milkman' by Anna Burns. It's a hard read but utterly gripping.

    Lois McMaster Bujold, "Pelman's Fox," yesterday. One sitting.

  • The Miracle Life of Edgar Mint by Brady Udall was amazing as was Gathering of Waters by Bernice L. McFadden. 

    I read them back to back last month - don't ever remember reading two fantastic books in a row like that.

    The book of Hebrews. It complements the Book of Isaiah perfectly showing is the beautiful highway of holiness running into the Holy of Holies and then into the place where holy, holy, holy is sung itself.

    13 Hours.  a non fiction about the 2012 Benghazi attack.  Mitchell Zuckoff writes it with the surviving team members that defended the compound.
