If the Catholic Church will excommunicate pro-choice members, shouldn’t they also excommunicate members who vote to cut food stamps and-?

    The kinds of "Charity" Christianity promotes is the voluntary and personal kind. Not coercive and third party governmental variety. 

    You don't have to believe in their doctrine, but that is what it is.

    Even though I was Baptized by the Catholic Church, I really don't care what they have to say or "excommunicate," LOL.

    Would be an odd move because Pope Francis seems to be the most open-minded Pope I've ever seen, LOL.
