What can I make with stew meat besides beef stew?

I usually use it to make beef stew or beef pot pie but what else can I make with stew meat? Any ideas?

Chili, beef and broccoli, beef fried rice, beef and barley soup, and you can slow cook it and shred it up a bit more for beef tacos.

Pretty much anything that will cook for a long time, like chili or a stroganoff. You can put it into a slow cooker and serve with buttered noodles.

Stroganoff is a good suggestion too.

    You could make a curry.

Cook it down slowly, then you can use it in pies, casseroles, pasties, empanadas e.t.c.

"Stew meat" is a mystery, but AFAIK it is generally chuck.

Looking at the local stores, "stew beef" generally costs $5 to $6 a pound.

I buy chuck roasts, on sale for $3 to $4 a pound, cut into one pound packs and freeze.

I like chuck, it has better flavor.  But is a bit tough, needs more cooking time.

My stew is better than yours.  It takes 4 hours to cook, is made with porter beer.

My stroganoff takes 2 hours to cook, made with a splash of merlot wine.

My cornish pasty only takes 75 minutes in the oven.  I learned to cook a pasty 60 years ago.

You can use it to make Hungarian Goulash or a poor man's Beef Stroganoff.   Either way it must be cooked for a long time in something like a cock pot otherwise it will be chewy.

I use it for chili, great with black beans!
