No, it is PST, and since the entire continental USA and Canada went onto daylight saving time at 2 am local time on Sunday, March 8, 2020, except for Arizona, you're now in EDT and California AND Arizona are in PDT, 3 hours earlier. Hawaii does not observe DST. Alaska does. Arizona is MST year round except for the Indian reservations.
Eastern standard /daylight time EST/EDT
Central standard/daylight time CST/CDT
(Most of Indiana observes EDT except for 7 counties.)
Mountain standard/daylight time NST/MDT.
Pacific standard/daylight time PST/PDT
Alaska standard/daylight time.

In the Continental United States there are four time zones.
Eastern (GMT+5), Central (GMT+6), Mountain (GMT+7) and Pacific (GMT+8)
GMT is Greenwich Mean Time (Greenwich England) GMT+5 means you add five hours to Eastern time to obtain GMT.
Besides the standard Time Zones listed above you have Daylight Savings Time or summer time.
