I think most people don't care especially these days about others bc they're very rude, selfish, and inconsiderate people. Act however you want to hell with their expectations of you. We only get one life to live theres no sense in making yourself miserable while you make everyone else happy.

It will pass by in a second. All things of this world are temporary. That little thing you are worried about now wont matter in two years. You will forget about it. Dont stress it.

    There are those who care.

But many expect only THEIR problems to be cared about

Psychiatrists care about your problems. And if you don’t have any, they’ll be happy to create a diagnosis or two or three for you anyway, and then write you out a prescription for a drug or two or three that will make you want to kill yourself.

But they can always replace you with another patient; so don’t worry. Your death didn’t really inconvenience them to any great extent. They’re important people. We should try not to inconvenience them too much.

So if you’re about to commit suicide, which is a not uncommon side effect of their drugs, just leave them a voicemail and they’ll return your call at their “earliest possible convenience.” They’re busy people.

Everyone has problems. Job 5:7 states “but man is born to trouble as the sparks fly upward.” Each person is a sinner, they know what is right but do wrong, and the one thing they can not fix on their own is the evil in them as Jeremiah prophecies: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?“ - Jeremiah 17:9

So without a new heart we don’t even know when we are deceived even when people seem to help us. Sin works that way. But if a person comes to their senses and ask God for forgiveness from messing up our lives and opens the door of their heart soul for Jesus to come in then they can be forgiven and become born again as a new creature with a new heart.

“... therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. (Revelation 3:19b-20 NASB)

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”  (2 Corinthians 5:17, NASB)

It is not that all our troubles disappear, but we have lots of help and aid to get through them. Sometimes we even are disciplined in order to deal with sin or grow in faith. When God cares for you then the act of discipline is for your benefit. How does one argue with:

“Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?

For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.”

“All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.”  (Hebrews 12:9-11 NASB)

So then you can’t change the behavior of self deceived people when they need a new heart that only comes from Jesus. But you can know they too can be saved and given a new heart if they turn to Jesus. That is the greatest way to help someone.

Because it is not just your problems but everyone's problems. It's not a matter of not caring but about self preservation where many go out with friends to forget their problems, not be reminded of them. Of course there are those who do thrive on drama who will gladly listen to you in exchange for dumping their problems on you.

Because as you grow up you'll learn that EVERYBODY has problems and for some they are much worse then anything wrong in your life.
