Has it ever happened in U.S. history that its leader asks the nation to PRAY for a crisis in the nation?

He declares Sunday as the National Day of Prayer to combat this virus we're facing. What can be accomplished if there is unity?

    Prayer is not to "combat" a virus, it is to succor our spirits and resolve so we do not panic or become weak with despair.
