Jehovahs Witnesses may I please have a second?

I have a friend who is considering joining Jehovahs Witnesses after he finished his school project here in the uk, he needs to get some questions added into the response but has since become more interested in the overall religion. So please may you answer these questions for him as he has tried everywhere and mainly given up hope of finding someone noce enough to help him with this.

1. How long have you been a JW

2. Who introduced you to JW

3. How have your beliefs as a JW affected you every day life and relationships

4. What are your views on the origin of the universe, your morals, your destiny after death and the meaning of life.

Update:

Also by "school" we are college students so, if anybody is going to say your not old enough to make that decision since you are in school, we are both 16+

    1. Who introduced you to JW? - My parents

    2. How long have you been a JW? - Officially since baptism aged 16 till I left via the back door aged 40

    3. How have your beliefs as a JW affected you every day life and relationships? - Having known nothing else till aged 40 and going to prison as a conscientious objector to national service and refusing alternative work on a farm, that affected me as it was the worst time in my life. I carried on as a JW when released, pioneering and giving up a good career to do that. But I only ever had relationships within the JWs

    4. What are your views on the origin of the universe, your morals, your destiny after death and the meaning of life? - For the first 2, absolutely no change since leaving the JWs. For the last 2, a radical change now I believe the Bible without JWs interpretations telling me what my destiny will be etc.

If your friend wants a balanced spectrum of views, he will need to ask why hundreds of thousands of jWitnesses leave every year and get there stories. All jWs will give a glowing report. None will dare say anything critical of the group in public.

There are many wonderful experiences from individuals who answer all these questions at jw.org

    https://www.jw.org/en/search/?q=experiences&link=%...

    1  several decades.

2  Argued with my sister in law who was studying.

3   My life has been greatly rewarded with many friends and a true purpose of life

4  Jehovah created all things, biblical morality, my hope is to live for ever on a Paradise earth.

What is the meaning of life?

(Matthew 22:36-38) “36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 He said to him: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and first commandment.”

(Ecclesiastes 12:13) “13 The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man.”

BEWARE! JW is a non-Christian cult that denies fundamental Bible doctrines such as the deity of Christ, the Trinity, salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, bodily resurrection, and eternal torment in the lake of fire for unbelievers. There is nothing remotely "Christian" about JW. Stay away from them.

Because we have all sinned against a perfectly holy and righteous God, we all deserve eternal separation from God in hell (Rom. 6:23). However, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross as our Substitute so we don't have to go to hell. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave three days later (1 Cor. 15:3-4). He gives eternal life freely to anyone who simply believes in Him for it. No one can be saved by doing good works. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9).

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47).

Beware, Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult, manipulated by the Watchtower and headquarters that keep people from knowing God for themselves and from salvation.

They are very deceitful in recruitment. They are out to deceive and those that do not know better are vulnerable.

They will say anything to trap.

I have been baptized as a Jehovah’s Witnesses for 44 years. I always believed in a God. I felt that there should a different between people who serve God and those who do not serve God. I tried different religion but they didn’t teach from the Bible to love for God with your soul, mind, and strength which led not to upholding and teaching good moral standards and principles of God. They would quote a scripture but sermon was not I stop going church.A friend of mines was studying with Jehovah’s Witnesses. I started going to their meetings and hear and saw a huge contract from what I witnseeed in other religions. They actual taught from the Bible from the platform, family including children sat together, there teaching that encourage unity and love in the family and in the congregation. Love for our brothers and sisters in other to point of not going to war against them, helping them when disaster hits, and the elders has to set a good examine even with their children, and it is not about collecting to pay a salary to elders to teach the congregation. The way it affected me is that living by the word of God made me a better wife, mother, daughter, sister, employee, and a better friend, It feel good to have good morals. Yet not condemn those who don’t but help them to see the need to learn about the loving God that Jehovah is.(1John 4:8;John 3:16)

Oh, dang! I want to answer, but you've restricted it to JW's only.

If you're going to restrict it, why not restrict it to only people who can provide testable, repeatable, consistent evidence for the existence of their Gods or Goddesses?

Not just piles of words, but evidence.

EVERY religion has piles of words, and yet, YOU do not believe in ALL of them.
