Camshaft ford ?

I bought a low mileage ford 302 roller block engine but came with flat tappet camshaft. I put it into my mustang drove it a few times and it needs more power. I’m looking at a few camshafts that are under .480 lift. I’ve been looking at the solid camshafts. So I guess my question is if I use a solid cam. Will it change the push rod length? I’m trying to keep cost down if I can possibly use the old push rods that would be great. Also I have fulcrum rocker arms will that cause any issues? Will I get more hp with a solid

Lifters for this engine are either hydraulic, solid or roller!

I am not aware of any differences in push rod length.

Your references to rocker arm style are lost on me- there are a couple of different styles, but your terms do not match my references.

So what I am doing is sending you a link to a pdf document published by Ford which should help you with your project:

Secondly some intake's on Ford engines are known to be a source of trouble. If you have a  intake system and it is defective all the hot rod parts for that engine will not fix the problem. A vacuum leak there could be all that is actually wrong.
