Veggie growing tips and tricks? ?
Hi all! I have a Russian tortoise named Theo who I’d love to do a little home garden for. I just bought kale and lettuce starts and want to put a few different veggies in one long planter. I’ve never grown veggies before but have grown succulents. Any tips on how to get started or maintain it or really anything would be much appreciated!

There are many sites on it, but in general it's really not that difficult.
Get a bag of decent soil to use. There are many which say they're good for veggies. I never get the most expensive (and often the cheapest).
Plant as instructed. Make sure they're generally in the correct amount of sun. Kale and lettuce just space out 8-12 inches.
Water more than succulents. It's okay if the soil gets dry for a day or two, but you want to try to consistently water them especially when they're young.
