Keyboard key was delayed at first, I toyed around with it, and now it repeats?
So I have a macbook pro and the issue is with my "h" key. First it was delayed, as in when i tried to type something like "the", it would write "teh" instead, so I googled it to try to fix the issue. I don't remember *exactly* what I did, but it was something along the lines of turning "key repeat" in settings to off, and I think something else. Anyway, the key is no longer delayed. Instead, it repeats now. For example, now if I try to type "the" it writes "thhe" even when I press the h key only once. I'm getting very tired of having to press the backspace because of this. I never had these kinds of issues with other laptops, but i repeatedly have issues with my mac. The issues seems to randomly appear and disappear. I had the same issue with my "n" key a few months ago, and it randomly stopped. Now it's with my h key. What's going on, and is there a way to fix it once and for all?

Key sticking. Or key not releasing. As the mechanism wears, the finger strike on the cap makes the plunger in its hole tilt a bit and go slower, either on the downward stroke (delaying the "h" letter to be after the "e" letter you struck) or on the spring pushed upstroke (making multiple or "hh" when the repeat restriction is off). Another cause besides wear might be contamination--coffee or Coke does a great job making keys go crazy.
Get a USB keyboard (wired or wireless) or a Bluetooth one. Apple types are not that expensive. Search Internet.
If you wish a new MacBook board, that is a different level of cost and complexity.
