possible oven gas leak?

corrugated flex gas pipe sometimes comes loose at one point in the line, after being moved,,use dishsoap to squirt on the whole thing.bubbles indicate a leak

It smells like Rotten Eggs (or something your Hubby or bf pharted out and it makes your eyes water.   So rude.  There is a good chance you are allowed for some movement without a problem.  You would also hear a hisssssss.

spray all gas pipes/hoses with soapy water .  if there are any leaks you will see bubbles . 

Of course it "can" if the pipes are not sound or long enough.

It's possible gas be it natural gas or propane has a specific smell.  You can get someone to come leak check it. Or get some leak check bubbles spray on the joints if it's leaking you'll see bubbles form an get bigger.

As with most questions of this kind, the answer is maybe or it depends.  It depends on what type of hose it is, there are several types.  How much play you had.  How old the hose is.  Since you are unsure call the gas company.  No matter where you are if you tell them you think you may have a gas leak they will check it for free.  replacing the hose is also fairly easy.  Lastly you may want to shut the gas off to the appliance while you wait.  There should be a shut off right at the appliance.  If not trace the gas line back until you find one.  Good luck.

Could have easily damaged that line or moved a connection enough to cause a leak.

Yes the gas supply line should be inspected closely, with soapy water.

what's the hose made of? if it is flexible metal [looks like a spiral], those are difficult to stretch too much. in my community, gas company will check this for free [and replace the hose with a longer one if it is leaking]

It's most unlikely that you can have caused a leak by stretching the hose. They are designed to be tough. Here's how you can test it. Get some liquid detergent - dishwashing liquid is best, but anything will do. Put about a teaspoonful in a jar with a lid, add about the same amount of water (the amounts aren't critical) put the lid on and shake it up well so you have a jar full of foam. Apply the foam to anywhere you suspect a gas leak - in particular where the rubber joins the metal ends of the hose and where the hose fits to the pipe and the oven. If there's a leak, it will blow bubbles. If it does, call a gas engineer.
