Tap Water V. Pure Water for Titration?

In a titration of ascorbic acid, how would the measured concentration be affected if you use hard tap water instead of purified water to dilute the solution? Like.. does something in the hard water react with the ascorbic acid that would make the results different?

It depends on what you use for a titrant, and does it react with anything in hard water.

In general you don't use tap water for anything in the lab, except for the first rinse when cleaning glassware.
