Can I give my cats breastmilk?

My mum recently gave our cats some leftover breastmilk and the store-bought breastmilk to our cats and they seem to enjoy it. Just wanted to know if it was okay for them to drink?

ADULT Cats are actually lactose intolerant.  Giving a cat too much of ANY kind of milk can give them tummy issues and diarrhea.

Cats do enjoy drinking milk - but that doesn't make it "good" for them or even "okay" for them.

Milk should be a TREAT only and given RARELY and in SMALL AMOUNTS.  It should NOT be part of their regular, daily diet.

Now, as for giving a cat breast milk from a human - it probably won't hurt them any more than any other kind of milk - but it is rather disgusting to think about.

You know that you could always ask your vet and if you are too embarrassed to ask the vet then you probably shouldn't be giving it to your cats.
