How many of you are silly enough to where a mask because you're scared?

I dont even know how to where a mask. I can wear one, though

It's pretty much the law where I'm at so, yeah, we're wearing masks to walk the dog and hike around. It's really not that big of a deal if you have any interest at all in public health.

It' is mandated, it is for protecting others not ourselves, that is. Unless you have the 95 rated mask or respirator. You breath out, your stinky breath carries about 6 feet, gets caught up in whatever air movement is happening and can carry farther. You sneeze or cough, and we are talking 12 feet. Whatever happens to be on your stinky breath can be breathed in, land on and transferred to others. You wear a mask to catch most of your own stink, so you don't spread it to others.

You are also right that those wearing masks that are not used to them, do touch their face more often, increasing the chance of contamination. Better keep that in check or you'll sink yourself.

I wear a mask, not because I am scared of the ongoing Pandemic and the way I live , it just seems like a prudent act to take at this time. My girl made some masks, and perhaps I would be scared of her reaction if I did not wear a mask.

I'm more scared of the old lady at WM that chastised me for not wearing one. I'd wear one if I could find one just so that didn't happen again.

I have been wearing a face covering in the last few days because health experts have been recommending them and I am wise enough to heed the advice of experts.
