I am immortal, though my biological body is not, and I look forward to an eternity of perfect happiness.

    Hey Jack,

When you believe in Jesus you are promised everlasting life.  From that point forward your soul will not die.  It is very much like being rescued from a sinking ship.

You have had glimpses into eternity.  When you were a child and your parents called you in from playing.  When you wake up and wish you had more time to sleep.  These are glimpses into what eternity will be like.  We naturally yearn for the everlasting because we were created to be everlasting.

The concept of boredom does not exist in the eternity.  Being bored is the result of needy senses missing proper stimulation.  This imbalance does not exist in heaven.

Being in the birthplace of art, music, sport, and the very concept of love will never get old.  I will especially enjoy watching families reunite.  Especially the ones who struggled greatly on Earth yet stuck together through it all.  I hope to see you there.

Jump off a building to see if I would still break once I hit the ground.

Watch the movie "Groundhog day"; that would illustrate a few things.
