its all allegorical, it does have meaning none the less, but the nature of man is not established too seek truth, mans nature is to seek liked minds to support their egos and perceptions....God is Love and Love is All encompassing.....anything that equates God outside of Love is a lie.......100% of humans belief systems are built on the back of anthropomorphism.... our view of God is build on human concepts which is not based on reality.

Spiritual death. "The wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23. 1 Tim. 5:6 6"But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives."

No. Peter helps his readers to cultivate patience by reminding them why God often does not act immediately. First, Peter says: “One day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Peter 3:8) Since Jehovah lives forever, he can take all factors into consideration and choose the best possible time to act. Then, Peter points to Jehovah’s desire that people everywhere should repent. God’s patience means salvation for many who would perish if he acted precipitously. (1 Timothy 2:3, 4; 2 Peter 3:9) However, Jehovah’s patience does not mean that he will never act. “Jehovah’s day will come as a thief,” says Peter.—2 Peter 3:10.

The apostle Peter wrote: “Let this one fact not be escaping your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with God as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.

The first point is that Jehovah does not view time as we do. To the One who lives forever, a thousand years are as one day.

So, according to God's day, Adam & Eve died within one day, not our day, but his day.

    No.

Gen 2:16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

Before they ate, they would have lived forever.  After they ate, they were destine to die.  You're thinking the verse says "you will immediately die", but that's not what it says.

The fact of the matter: The moment they ate from the tree of good and evil, they died, spiritually, and mankind fell from the grace of God that is why God threw them out of the Garden of Eden because they were spiritually dead in trespass and sins, and later they died physically

I'm even more curious as to why they chose God's word over the serpent's.

God is perfect and incapable of lying.

So when Adam and Eve accepted the devil's proposal is like they found him more credible than God.

    Mysterious story.
