Your Dad may have had the best intentions, but, you never put your hands on another persons' body without their consent! I don't care if you are a parent and its a child, it still does NOT give a parent a free pass to put their hands on any part of their body without the child saying "yes you can" first.

You consented to sleep in his bed, but that's as far as the consent went! You never asked him to hug you, he never asked to hug you, he went ahead and assumed he had the god given right to do so.

Do I think his intentions were to sexually molest you? I doubt it! Having said that intentions be damned here, the outcome was he still touched you against your will, and he managed to make you feel uncomfortable about the entire experience.

Clearly this is bothering you, and I think you need to address this with your father, he needs to be put on notice here, that he does not have any right to touch your body, the only time he would have a right is IF it were a dangerous situation and he was trying to save you.

Your Dad was majorly in the wrong here.

He was comforting you. He's your father.

Doesn’t sound like it was even remotely sexual.

Not weird.  Common and totally OK.  Relax, kid.
