Wouldn't the virus burn up and die anyway in the heat of Florida beaches?

    There's no guarantee of that. 

    It was assumed at first it was a strain of the flu. That was quickly dispelled; it's related to SARS. (As proven by DNA testing).

    So flu season has nothing to do with it.

    Some doctor said the other day it took temps of 192 to kill it. Before that some other doctor said 140 would do it.
