start being sexually active you are responsible enough. 20-25 in my opinion. 

there's no rush dude, everyone does it in their own time, some people do it whenever they get the chance, some wait for the right person, nothing wrong with being intimidated by it, again, there's no hurry, take your time

I do say 16 at the youngest. If you find a sweet guy. the rest make you want to die a virgin lol. I started at 27 which I feel gave me a lot more confidence. Sometimes I wish I would have started at 16. It would have saved me a lot of fear. But at the same time its like having money. You never know if someone wants you or sex. Like I said. In the end. its only worth if you do it with someone sweet or cares about u. 

Any sexual activity under the age of 16 is illegal.  It's called 'sexual assault' for doing foreplay activity. It's statutory rape to have intercourse under 16 (at least. Some states it's higher age).  After you reach legal age, and when you think you've found someone you want to let have sexual activities with, then it's okay. Until then, be cool and just do masturbation if you feel horny.

You should start when you are married with the right person and using protection. That way you wont get a horrible disease like herpes, gonorrhea, syphyllis, or AIDS that can kill you. Your wife or husband will also respect you more if you wait until your married.  That way they wont wonder of you have any crazy deadly STD that can kill them. They will also feel special knowing that you haven't slept with everyone in town. If you listen to me, you'll thank me later. 

You should start when YOU feel comfortable with it, not because of the fact others may be doing it, or peer pressure from your boyfriend etc! It's your body, and your life, nobody should ever make you do something that YOU don't feel comfortable with.\

You should start when you're ready, not a minute before.  It's not a magic age, and you won't miss anything important if you wait.
