Boil on outer vaginal skin?

Hi, as you are all aware there is a pandemic happening so I’m a little confused on to what to do about my problem. I have a boil on the vaginal skin next to my vagina and it has a small black head to it. It is painful when I walk or sit so I often have to sit with my legs open. It’s been here for 3 days now and I have started to wear no underwear so that it wouldn’t rub against anything. I don’t know if I should wait it out or try to pick at the black head because I am in New York and I don’t think they’re seeing any patients at an gyno unless it’s an emergency. I really don’t want this to scar. I’ve had an issue with this before but it didn’t hurt as bad.

Most likely a bartholin's cyst. Google that and see if it makes sense.

Folliculitis. Pimples in the genital area may be a result of infection of the hair follicle due to bacteria. Shaving your pubic hair is one potential cause of folliculitis. As your hair starts growing out of the follicle, it curls back toward the skin, causing irritation

    Boils Treatment -- Home Remedies

Apply warm compresses and soak the boil in warm water. This will decrease the pain and help draw the pus to the surface.

When the boil starts draining, wash it with an antibacterial soap until all the pus is gone and clean with rubbing alcohol.

Do not pop the boil with a needle.

Do NOT pick at it. Phone your Doctor, you need antibiotics.

Call up your doctors office in the morning. Most doctors are now doing online consults and video chats. You can have a virtual visit with either your own Primary doctor or a gynecologist. Even some of the urgent care centers are offering the online virtual visits. So this can be handled, safely and without you having to come in contact with others. No one can diagnose or tell you through yahoo answers what you should do medically speaking, so consulting a medical professional is absolutely necessary here.
