No. It's a toddler in the world ending virus stakes. The response will kill far more than the virus will.

No it is not the end of times. Sadly many people will die, and many more will get infected and will go through some rough times, and everybody will be affected by the economic impact of the whole situation. Humans are not always bright, and some day we might take ourselves out, but not yet.

Between World War I (up to 20 million dead) and the 1918 Pandemic (at least 50 million dead), people thought that was the end times, but it wasn't. World War II killed up to 75 million, and that wasn't the end times either.
