Derivative d(a/b) w.r.t (a/b)?

x = (a/b)^(2/3)

What is dx / d(a/b) ?

I don't understand the notation :O how can you take the derivative with respect to (a/b) ?

    Let y = a/b

    x = y^(2/3)

    dx/dy = (2/3)y^(-1/3)

    dx/d(a/b) = (2/3)y(a/b)(-1/3)
