Do I qualify for Unemployment if my employer gets a PPP Loan?
I'm in California and have lost significant hours at work due to COVID 19. My employer says they're hoping to get the PPP Loan but are still thinking about keeping our hours cut inorder to stay open longer. Would it be possible for myself to get unemployment inorder to supplement the loss in income from the loss of hours even though my employer gets the PPP Loan?

Yes. But if your hours stay cut, then your employer might have to pay back the loan.

If your employer gets the PPP loan and retains you, you get off unemployment. Until that actually happens, either work the limited hours or ask to be laid off so you can get unemployment.
