I am looking for weird music?

I am thinking Tangerine Dream + Dream Theater + Meshuggah maybe

Anything real weird will do though. Looking for synths, but not dancey stuff. Also jazzy chords are awesome

I know Sunn O))) already, and have gone a bit into drone, I like NWW.

I live progressive music

I just want something new for a few days I guess

Anyone know anything that I might like?

I guess it depends on what you define as weird, but here are a few not-so-mainstream bands I've listened to...

    - Me First & The Gimme Gimmes

    - Siouxie & The Banshees

    - Frank Zappa

    - Primus / Les Claypool

    - Alice Cooper (earlier stuff)

    - The Art Of Noise

    - Izzy Stradlin (post Guns work)

    - The Plasmatics

Laibach, Art of Noise, Dr. Demento for funny songs and industrial will give you a bit of variety.

Ever try any early Pink Floyd?  How about The Soft Machine?

Wow, I did not expect a reply so soon. Awesome.

Plenty of great stuff, so I am going to leave this unanswered for a bit so people can add and check out some of these suggestions.

And sure, I'll contribute too. Check out Spastic Ink - Melissa's Friend, the craziest prog I ever found (so far)

Oh, and Dream Theater's "When Dream & Day Unite" (that album is criminally overlooked).
