What is your best childhood memory?

One of my favorite memories was my first merry-go-round.  We went to an amusement park near Stockton, California called Oak Park.  I don't think it's there anymore.

Going to cinema for the first time watching Star Wars. 

A lot...... Can't tell one by one.

Catching a catfish when I was almost 5 years old.

Me: There are loads of great memories I have had..my childhood was good, sure sometimes some things where not that great but most where.Ok so I loved playing outside as a child with other children and maybe sibling(s) we did play a lot outside and even made mud cakes/pies lol.Loved going on holiday and to theme parks,Ballet,School was good and getting school photos taken,Did anyone else take one grape from the pack at supermarket hehe 🍇 and not buy any 🙈 also sometimes running and pretending u where lost at theme park to get infront of the line..only done that once at a themepark.Pictures getting taken,Spending time with family,Maybe holding sibling(s) in arm or near them if I have any.Ones that have been told to me and or that I wrote down.Also have pics and videos dome I still need to get..Lots of things so more but cannot name all.

Getting to the summit of Helvellyn and having a cup of tea with a drop whisky in it. (I was about 6.) Dad has a photo somewhere of me sat on the summit cross shelter thingy reading the Wainwright pages for Helvellyn...

By 'best', do you mean most enjoyable or the most memorable?

Going to Alton Towers. I'm still obsessed with the place at 35.
