Obama would have listened to the experts. On their advice he set up the the Global Health Security and Biodefense unit, which Trump shut down, in 2018, just because it was supported by Obama.

The alt-right are anti-experts and don't trust science so with Trump we have an idiot telling people to inject bleach. Obama is much more sensible and not such a big head. The alt-right has also created the anti-vax movement, they will be a big problem when a vaccine is developed.

The US has 4% of the world's population, 27% (and climbing) of the virus and is the only country handicapped w/ a trump factor. In the beginning, when containment was still possible, trump was telling us how he had it under control when he should have been in high gear preparedness and precaution. In fact, he treated the H1N1 virus, Ebola, and Zika virus threats a lot more seriously than Republicans in Congress, asking for more money to fight them than they were willing to provide. Trump OTOH, asked for a less more money to fight the Covfefe-19 virus than Congress gave him.
