There is none. Too many people have forgotten that the original reason for the shutdown and social distancing was to slow the spread of the virus to keep the healthcare system from being overwhelmed. Once that happened the moved the goal posts and now we have to wait until there are no new cases at all.

Social distancing means less person-to-person contact. That slows the spread of the virus meaning fewer people get infected. The fewer that get infected the fewer die.

There is none. This lockdown is stupid. The stats on this virus haven't shown it to be any more deadly than any other virus. If it were EBOLA...80% DEATH RATE...then you would have something to SAY. Not FRACTIONS of a PERCENTAGE. 3.2 million infections on a world scale is NOTHING. China won't tell us their REAL numbers either. They don't want to mention the 20 million cellphones that STOPPED WORKING.

Under normal circumstances, it's not a big deal for a healthy person. However, currently we have a pandemic going on. Given that the disease can be passed through close proximity and getting it could cause death, keeping distance will conversely prevent possible death.

Simple! The states that shut down early are the ones with the lowest levels of COVID 19. Those that have had protests, where the governors wanted to keep things going, have the worst levels (not counting NYC, of course, where social distancing was much more difficult.)

It's not done to save lives directly, it's done to slow the spread so hospitals aren't over-burdened. And that will save lives.
