Why does Trump continue to deny he said things even when he's quoted word-for-word?

Funny how you don't provide the HONEST word for word transcription. Why is that?

Because he can get away with it.

Because he knows his cult followers will believe everything he says and he doesn't care about the rest of us.

It's really bizarre to be honest. I don't know why he does that. He has even done it within the very same press conference - denying he said something only moments later.

Sure, people mis-speak, make mistakes, change their minds, or are just plain wrong sometimes. All of that is understandable. But Trump insists "you're wrong - I never said that".

He is mentally unstable and supremely egotistical to the point that he believes he can just create his own narrative that is supposed to be believed over what actually took place.

It is a concept in politics to do so. He is becoming a good politician.

Why do Cuomo and deBlasio and Kenny and Pelosi not admit that Trump was right when he closed the borders to the Chinese and they put many lives in danger by telling people to go to Chinatown to party?

Dementia Donnie never said that & if he did he was being sarcastic & if he wasn't it doesn't matter anyway.
