How much kg of effort required to pull the water up to 10 ft height? ?

Imagine if a 10cm dia piston and same dia 10feet long pip connected,  kept vertically. Now my question is if we are pulling piston manually, ignore piston friction, how much kg of effort required to pull the water up side?

    Find the volume of a cylinder 10cm in diameter and 10 feet long.  That's

    πr2h  (pi * radius * 2 times the height).  First you'll have to convert to either metric or inch.

    Now find the weight of water per unit of volume.  For metric it's easy!  1 gram per cubic centimeter.  Multiply that by the volume.

    Now the weight of the water is the maximum amount of force required on the piston, when the tube is full and the piston is at the top.  That's how much water you're holding up!
