Are all the government officials liars? Even the medical authorities? You know something, the cynicism caused by paranoia is just as much a problem as dishonest politicians. Study microbiology for a couple of semesters - it's better armor than any amount of cynicism.

Any objectively intelligent person would believe Fauci rather than Trump every time.

What reason does Fauci have to lie? What's in it for him? His statements are supported by solid scientific evidence. If you have evidence to prove him wrong, what is it? Fauci is not the one who lies or who gains from lies, unlike his political masters.
