What do colleges think of “senior year superlative” awards?

Do high school senior year superlative awards count for anything when on a college application.

Awards like “most unforgettable” or other such awards. What do colleges think of these awards? Are such awards an outright popularity contest and lack any relevance or do scholarship judges consider such awards as reason to award a bursary or scholarship or grant?

How much weight do such awards have in college application process ???

Those are just a popularity contest, or at best just a perception of your peers.  It might be different if these were awards or recognition you received from the teachers or administration at your school.  I doubt they would help at all with admissions or scholarships.  I would not include them on any such applications.

In most cases, these would have no weight at all, or they may even weigh against you. Admissions and scholarship judges would regard them as what they are: just a fun piece of fluff without any real solid basis. Including something like this makes it look like you're trying to pad your application and don't have anything of real value to offer. The only time you might consider including one is if it has something to do with what you plan to study and is connected to some actual activities. For example, you could say you were voted "most socially conscious" and then go on to talk about all the activities you organized around social justice issues and how you want this scholarship so you can become a public defender. Donors and admissions staff want to hear about what you've actually achieved, not what your friends think about you, so for the most part, forget including senior superlatives like "most unforgettable".
