Atheists!  Where did you really come from ?

What’s really wrong with the Big Bang theory?

There are some problems with the Big Bang theory, which the authors gleefully discuss in the last chapter. “It’s not clear whether it explains why galaxies are arranged as they are, and it doesn’t quite predict the correct cosmic abundances of the elements,” said Lewis. “There is a big question mark at the start of the Universe as well—it looks like a beginning, but our theories get a bit fuzzy.” The Big Bang theory also requires the existence of mysterious material called dark matter and dark energy.

No one knows. That’s why we don’t believe. We can’t believe in anything that we don’t know about.

The truth is that atheists come from the same place as theists

    God speak about the were,

TEXT 3: The total material substance, called Brahman, is the source of birth, and it is that Brahman that I impregnate, making possible the births of all living beings, O son of Bharata.

TEXT 4: It should be understood that all species of life, O son of Kuntī, are made possible by birth in this material nature, and that I am the seed-giving father.

Which authors and which book?  There are hundreds of books, if not more, that discuss the big bang and inflation so you need to be a bit clearer when referring to one of them.

Of course the mathematics get "fuzzy" when we start looking before the big bang because time drops to zero and that can cause certain problems. However, that was addressed by various theories (M-theory, Super String, etc) years ago, so it suggests that whatever book you read is very dated.

"We don't understand every detail of the start of the universe" does not equal "Science is wrong, God did it."

Science follows the evidence where it leads.

Religion attempts to make the evidence fit a preexisting narrative.

Good question. But there is one possibility that has been completely eliminated, and that is the biblical account in Genesis.

Nobody knows.  Theists like to pretend that they know.  But the truth is, nobody knows.
