What wrestling match finish still has you perplexed today?

Is there a finish to a wrestling match that you don’t understand. Could be booking decision or just an illogical finish.

    Whichever idiot gave Hogan his creative control clauses which meant he refused to do the decent thing and lose gracefully to others who had heat.

    Plenty of times he refused because he was jealous of the cheers his rivals were getting. Jake the Snake for one.

    I wouldn't say perplexed, but I'm still wondering to this day how people could do a Piledriver back in the day when it was legal without actually breaking they necks, it's above me
