How long should I wait until I get my 2nd session on my tattoo?

It's been a week and the first session is starting to peel. By tomorrow it might be just skin flakes. My artist said she can do it this week but I don't know if it would be ok to do my 2nd session in a week. What should I do? I am going to be very busy soon ( working 6 days a week) so it will be hard getting there for a while. Should I go through with it? Will my tattoo get infected? What will happen? Or am I overreacting?

When I got my tattoo I had to wait three weeks before it fully healed. Are you just getting it finished or you need to color it? I would wait until it's fully healed, I know you'll be busy but you don't want it to get infected.

your tattoo will be fine and so will you and no it won't get infected if you look after it properly
