Locusts - they eat too much, are selfish.
Wild honey, suggests something good
not being used - food neither eaten, nor
given away. And a camel goes through
the eye of a needle when one desires a
coat made of camel's hair. But who would
desire such ? Maybe it was a gift ?

He was the guy that baptized Jesus, got arrested, and lost his head because Salome could dance real fine for her stepdaddy.

John the Baptizer, son of Zechariah and Elizabeth; the forerunner of Jesus.
John spent the early years of his life in the hill country of Judea, where his parents lived. He went on growing, and he continued in the deserts until the day of showing himself openly to Israel.
John began his preaching in the Wilderness of Judea, saying: “Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.” He wore clothing of camel hair and a leather girdle, John’s food consisted of insect locusts and wild honey.
John preached baptism for forgiveness of sins for those repenting, confining his baptism to Jews and proselytes to the Jews’ religion.
John taught those coming to him that they should share things and not commit extortion, that they should be satisfied with their provisions and harass no one. He also taught his baptized followers how to pray to God.
John Introduces “the Lamb of God.” In the autumn of 29 C.E., Jesus came to John to be baptized.
John saw God’s spirit coming down upon Jesus and heard God’s own voice declaring Jesus to be His Son.
After a year or more of active ministry, John was forcibly taken out of the field. He was thrown into prison by Herod Antipas.

JtB was Jesus' cousin, on his mother's side. The son of a Temple Priest, he was baptized by the Holy Spirit while still in his mother's womb. John is known to have acted in the spirit and power of the Prophet Elijah, making straight the way for the Lord God and Messiah, Jesus Christ. According to Jesus, John is the foremost/greatest prophet that God ever raised up. He was given the privilege of baptizing Jesus, as well as the privilege of holy martyrdom at the hand of King Herod. John the Baptist has been declared a Saint, by the Catholic Church. One of John's fingers has been preserved and is available for viewing at the Art Institute, in Chicago.

He baptised people. Often against their will. Many drowned. Jesus didn't like John.

Just like Jesus Christ, John the Baptist is a fictional character that lives in a big book of lies that history will soon learn to forget.
